which bolts

We'll I finally pulled the pin and bought a vortex shadow scope lite stuff pkg. Now I need some advice on which bolts to supplement the bow with. I do like the excalibur/Eastons that come with the bow but am not certain if they are the way to go. I would like to be able to put the lighted nocks in t...

trigger pull

Is there some advantage to either the pistol grip or the thumbhole stock as far as trigger pull goes and why if you know? I was a competitive blackpowder rifle shooter and really appreciate a good trigger. Is their someone or somewhere that works on the excalibur triggers (although I have found them...

stock extender needed?

If I go with the vortex rather that the equinox will I need to purchase the stock extender? Is the overal length of 1" shorter reflective of this or is this just indicative of a shorter rail length?

Also would it be worth buying the s5 system for the vortex as it doesnt come with it

equinox vs vortex

So, I am trying to decide which of the two bows to buy. I am 56 yrs old with some arthitus problems but can still pull the equinox with some vigor. However, I'm concerned that in 5 or so yrs this may not be the case and I might want the lighter pulling bow. There is always the cocking aid too. So do...

Re: New Crossbow

I have shot excaliburs which is one of the reasons that the equinox made it on my short list. :)

New Crossbow

I am in the market for a new crossbow. I thought I had it finally narrowed down to an excalibur equinox but then heard the Horton vision and scordpyd telsons being shot on you tube;wow they are really quiet. What are the pros and cons in your book to these newer reverse limb designs if any? Are thei...

Do they come with swivel studs or holes for mounting them? Must you go with a top mount quiver bracket to use a sling? thanks BB PS any pics would be appreciated.

munch mounts

These mounts really look great and I would bet they really help with the balance of the x-bow. But, how hard is it to get use to inserting the arrow from down bwtween the posts all thetime? Also can you still mount a top mount or side mount rangefinder with the quiver so configured? thanks, BB

broadheads

I have owned a parker tornado and 10 pt turbo in the past. Both shot 100 grain fp and 100 grain slick tricks with beautiful groups although not to the same POI. The excalibur vids say that they need big heavy fixed blade broadheads to fly good. has then been your experience? thank you, Bellas Boss (...
