Excalibur Crossbow Forum

I am a little concerned about the recommendation to unstring your bow when not in use. None of my compounds have this recommendation and I really don't have any real times that I won't possibly want to use the crossbow. Will this shorten the life of the bow/limbs? thanks, BB

So I was wondering if like most other manufacturers you need to pick up a good aftermarket string for new excaliburs? seems like most brands skimp on the quality of string they put on their bows or x-bows. Is this the case with excaliburs too? Thanks, BB

What are your thought about purchasing a new excalibur from e-bay? I found several really good deals (apparently) on e-bay but am really reluctant to make a major purchase from there. Does it void the warranty? Any comments or thoughts appreciated. BB.
