Great advice guys. I grew up a bowhunter and never hunted a lot with guns so I definelty need the practice. All of the deer I've killed with firearms (rifle and muzzleloader) have been taken while using some sort of rest. Now that I have a crossbow I want to make it a priority to get better at off-h...

Off-hand Shooting....Getting Better

I've never been a good off-hand shot, always using a tree, shooting sticks, etc. when deer hunting with a rifle. Now that I have a crossbow I really want to try and get better at shooting off-hand. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can do this?

Thanks.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I'm currently shooting 2219s out of my Phoenix and am pleased with them. They are not the arrow if you are a speed freak but if you want a quieter bow and a durable arrow they're tops.

I also rifle and muzzle load hunt. - Yardage estimation is very important. Shooting traditional/instinctive for so ...

Hello & Thanks...My observations so far.....

I've been reading posts here for almost 2 months now and I thank each and every one of you for what I've learned. I've had my Phoenix for almost a month and am really enjoying it. Before it I bow hunted with longbows/recurves for the last 15 years or so. My main reason for going to a crossbow was to...
