Another doe with a Wensel Woodsman on a 2219. 19 yard double lung shot. She hopped a few steps, stopped then staggered to her death 32 yards from the hit. The arrow burried over 1/2" in an old locust fence post laying on the ground. This will be my last crossbow kill since I switching back to a...

Scoutguard

I've got 2 and a buddy has 1. I'm really enjoying mine but the deer here are totally nocturnal right now so I have no daytime pictures. The IR pictures are good. One of mine has been through several rain storms with no issues. I've had one camera out since Christmas and the batteries are still at 75...

Last year I killed 5 doe using the Wensel Woodsmans. Average recovery was probably around 50 yards. One went a little over a hundred but several dropped within 30 yards.

Thanks.

4 doe for me. #1 with a 2219 with 150 grain Wensel Woodsmans; went about 60 yards good blood trail. #2 with a 2219 with 150 grain Wensel Woodsmans; hit too far back, went about 60 yards no blood, bedded down, put her down for good with a follow-up shot from 20 yards. #3 with a Firebolt and 125 grain...

My wife just surprised me with a T2 for my birthday. I shot my Pheonix out of it this morning with no problems and then took to the woods and set it up for hunts this week. The quality is great.

Got my Phoenix last year around Christmas and I've killed 5 doe with it this season. One doe with my MZ loader, a 7 pointer and coyote with my .243.

It's been a good season so far. Still hunting for a monster.

Good luck and God Bless.

Yes, I have modfied at Catquiver I to accpet my crossbow arrows. Works great but I'm currently using groundpounders mount and the Excal quiver which is awesome. I always remove my quiver once on stand.

Take care.

A buddy of mine just got a new Excalibur accessory package that contained the Easton shafts. They appear to be very good shafts.

Since I came from the stickbow side I still use Wensel Woodsmans. They are an excellent head that has done well for me over the past several years.
