Re: day one - deer one
Good work sir! I too being a buckeye saw everything but a deer... Squirrels, rabbits, turkeys, I even saw two pheasants just walking along, mocking me... It will happen, I gotta say, the summit ultimate viper ss I got is like climbing a tree with a lazyboy recliner... Money well spent! :D Just like ...

Re: Aftermarket Ibex stock for my Phoenix?
Boat anchor... that's funny! Thanks for all the info, I just thought it would be a fun swap but I didn't think it was that in depth of a job... Give me a reason to buy an Ibex... ya know, so I can examine and cross reference... not just to buy another excalibur...

Re: 1st Year Strictly Horizontal
By no means am I a hunter against a hunter... I believe that as long as the equipment is #1 legal, #2 can make an ethical and effective kill, and #3 can be used safely by the operator, go for it. I just have a hard time with people judging others for using different methods of hunting.

Re: 1st Year Strictly Horizontal
And another thing... I love how some of these guys get off with the whole argument that our crossbows aren't "Traditional bows". I will completely agree with these yoo hoo's right after they remove their stabilizers ,cams, cables, harmonic balancers, illuminated pin sights and MECHANICAL R...

Re: 1st Year Strictly Horizontal
I had to get my Excal swag from Ebay since Bill T and his office tribe can't return an email... That's right Boss, I said it... And I agree with the trucks and other vehicles with the big decals on then being an A**hole magnet. It's just a shame that it's the type of world we live in where we can't ...

Re: Which ground blind do you use and why?
If price isn't an issue then the only thing that comes to mind is these few things I consider when using a blind. I use ameristep doghouse blinds btw and I love them. Can you leave them sit without being stolen, are you hunting alone or with another person? If you can leave them out, I would say get...

Re: Hope the choice is right
There isn't an animal in N. America I would pass on at 40 yards or less with my Phoenix. You have to know how your equipment works to be comfortable, you have to be comfortable to take it hunting... That's all I have to say about that!
