Also please note that I generally make it a practice to not point a loaded crossbow at my eye. I suggest that is unsafe now matter what trigger you have in your bow.

Try turning your variable power (slightly) "UP" above 325 to drop your 40-50 POI. if you 40-50 yard shots are hitting the same point of impact (even if they are higher than you remember) with each shot then Norm is spot on with this one. something loose should show up at 20-30 yards also....

Im thinking this is not a big deal at all and certainly not a micro "defect" it is possible that your line is sharper than most. if it were me, I would shoot the snot out of that string .rotating it every 30- 40 shots and see if the wear is really and issue..is it just showing wear that ca...

I have shot 350gr and 395gr with no problem it was a 431gr that failed maybe knock fitting poorly.i did shoot more but at 385gr with glued plastic knocks.just seemed the heavy log didn't move fast enough for the string don't think I would try that again . "nock fitting poorly"...... is it...
