Re: It's here

I shot the rage 2 blades once. As for flight they where fine. As for opening and making a kill, well i will never use a mechnical again.

Congrats on the new bow. Its a pretty quick lesson to not aim at the same spot.

Re: Getting weight up

Thanks for that guys. I guess i will stick with the current set up and see what sort of penetration it gets if you think it will be suffeciant. If not then i have some ideas to play with. I looked at the 3rivers site and it did give me an idea, glue a nail in behind the insert. Having a bad shot on ...

Getting weight up

I'm moving in a couple of weeks and the usual goats will no longer be on the agenda. From now on it will be foxes, rabbits, dogs and camels. Current arrows will be right for everything but the camels. I the current arrows are about 400grain that's with 20inch arrows, 2 inch blazers, 125grain BH and ...

Re: Strong Deer (Deer that get away after a solid hit)

That is crazy. That first shot looked perfect to me. The second shot didnt look far from that. I guess only they will ever know what happened, when they gutted it and looked at what if any vitals the first shot hit.

Re: Wheres the old timers?

I have a new theory. The past members are the ones trying to sell us latex mattresses, memory foam, mulberry bags and TOD's shoes. If the old members are here though i would like it if they did post on the boards and not answer questions through PM. If its in a PM then the wisdom isnt there fo...

Thanks, Raymond I use the regular glue aswell. Fletch tite on the vanes. To get inserts out i just chuck them in the boil...

Re: Wheres the old timers?

Geez Dash, you have to stop being nasty to these spammers. I like reading about mattresses and blueberry bags. I really loved reading about tod's shoes earlier today  On the subject though, i dont know where the old fella's have gone but i do know they havent been replaced by idiots and this fo...

Re: what kind of glue?

All these glues and yet i have found the simple glue gun to work fine, fletchtite for vanes. The one main reason i like using a glue gun is becuase you are putting a consistant amount on each time for every arrow. Second reason is because it makes it easy to remove inserts and nocks by just putting ...
