I think it was bstout who posted a link in a recent thread. It was a guide about painting arrows instead of buying wraps. Looks good and im going to try it on my next set. Only adds 1 grain and looks the goods!

The videos were probably better then a mate. Mine didnt warn me about popping the gut the first time....after it had been sitting for 3 hours :lol: Thats a whole different experience in hunting. I think it depends on the persons own weight and strength. I couldnt do it. I found i started to use the stock as a lever aswell.

Easier just to make or buy a stringing aid. Abit of rope with some PVC tube was all i used.
