I haven't used their BH, but I do use their 25gr tappered weight booster. The quality is excellant and the weights are consitant.
This gives me a 150gr tip using my Vortex 125gr Pro -Extremes

Re: Vertical bow vs. crossbow accuracy
My "self-built" Ben Pearson/PSE Recurve will shoot that well, but I can't any more. There nothing more ausume to watch than a "Trad Archery " that can shoot like that. I would like to start seeing some high number posted by some oneshooting the Excals,Open Sights and off Hand. I ...

Re: How NOT to uncock your Xbow!!
Have not had an issue while uncocking my Vortex that I became a proud, happy, satisfied owner of back in October 2010. My first, but not my last (I picked up a Cobra 421 180lb the other day and am saving for a brand new Rhino (loaded) (365fps) MADE IN THE USA) ) I have always had a passion for Xbows, ...

Re: Vertical bow vs. crossbow accuracy
Let us throw in another contenderTraditional (Long, Recurve) Bows. Of course to become accurate with this type of bow, it takes lots of practice (muscle strenght) and a consistant method. I know of folks that can out shoot both clompounds and crossbows. In situations that requires multiple shots and...

Re: Bolt/Broadhead
The Vortex 125gr. out to 30yds is dead-on with the Sauders combo-tip.
For practice, remove the o-ring and use a thin wire to wire the blades closed

Re: Vortex Pro-extreme Broadhead Picts.
The Vortex is really easy to set up for a practice head.
Remove the 0-ring and replace with several wraps of a thin wire (finished head- 125gr)
I haven't shot at 40yds + yet, but at 30yds they are dead -on with the Sauders 125gr combo-tip

Re: Bolt/Broadhead
Here is my choice. I forgot to tell why I really like the Vortex Pro-Extreme. 2010 Dear Season, West Central Texas brush country, five shots, five processing bills. The longest recovery was around 50yd and the shortest, around 15yd. All pass throughs from an elevated (12"-16") blind. All of...

Re: Allen key info
I believe the scope rings are metric, can't recall if they're 2.0 or 2.5 mm. Do you know? And neither does my Dealer. When I first tried to adjust the scope, the bolts were about stripped. This place is way back in the hills in West NC , not sure if they have metric. All I know is that now, neither...

Re: Excalibur string stoppers
I wish they kept the protype bumpers on them instead of the ones they have now, I liked the look of the leather boxing gloves. 8) Me too! When saw the prototype,I thaught the bumper design was superier to the on tha the came out. I am sure Excal. R&D would addtress that. Maybe the design requir...
