Checking in
I hope everyone had a safe and successful season!! I didn’t get to hunt this year past the second week of bow season. The first time in forty years I haven’t killed a deer. :( My job made me an offer that was hard to refuse...so I accepted it. The only down side was I had to relocate. So I left the ...

I sold my 380 last week
I could still cock it and I have the charger XT but since I bought my micro 355 I just haven’t wanted to hunt with anything else.

Re: Somewhat new strategy
I have no choice but to use a climber. I’m almost 58 years old and it’s not getting any easier. :eh: I hunt public land but it’s a military base. It’s about 275 thousand acres with about 240 thousand available to hunt. They have it broken down to numbered areas that average around 1500/2000 acres gi...

If it was just for you I would say the 380...but I think your son will find the micro easier to shoulder. Either one will kill anything you want it to.

Quill question...
Can someone please tell me the inside diameter of the quill arrows? Is it .300 :? I removed the aluminum inserts from my quills and replaced them with 110gr brass inserts to give them more weight so I can shoot the two dozen or so 100 gr spitfires I have and for the life of me I can’t remember the s...

Re: new bows
Anything above a 355 in the micro series and you better have a cranking aid. Sighted in my 355 this morning and brought my charger XT but forgot the handle.

My 380 using 18” BEE’s total arrow weight 421grs is averaging 349 FPS.
I’m using an eight point Flemish string and reds. Nothing else on my limbs. I would think that you should be in this range.

Re: Scary hunting happenings
I was in a club about twenty years ago and there was a story going around about a lost cemetery on the property. It was supposed to be a cemetery for share croppers around the turn of the century. Well a couple years go by and I had pretty much forgot about the story. Just before bow season I had wa...
