I dry fired my Equinox about a month ago while taking off the cocking aid. (I ALWAYS engage the safety first now!) It totally freaked me out! I hear that! Choosing to buy an Excalibur was easy. Choosing which Excalibur to buy was the tough part... I felt spoiled for choice.
