Re: Excalibur phoenix ?
Own a Vixen (deer hide brown) until I did a camo job on it.Converted to 175 lbs with shims behind the limbs. I could do this as it had the straight riser. It is my favorite, It is the 2005 model. :D In 2006 this bow came out with the angled riser which you could not attach the shims too. I have this...

Re: Reasons I bought an Excalibur... Pics!
Looks like some good eating, is the Vortex a quieter bow than the rest?

Re: Deer Attractants
You could buy a cheap plastic container of peanut-butter and cut the bottom out.
Nail the lid to a tree and screw the bottle back on. Guarantee you will see more critters to get a picture of.

Re: Help Please----Limbs
I attached shims to one of my Vixens with the straight riser or yoke to bring it to 175 lbs. It is mag limb tips, not the old carved style and I use a fast flight string with it. Speed is approximately 305/307, checked with my chronograph pal .

How do you see the items on the trading post?
All I can seem to get by doing a search are other members comments about their transactions,
but no descriptions or pictures of actual items. Help please.

Re: Bowling and archery?
Might be fun, but will probably ruin a few bolts. I love bowling, belong to a senior league, cost me only $5 a week. Used to pitch in a softball league and have won a few horseshoe tournaments, all are similar. Not a great bowler, got a high game of 223, may never do a 300 game. One guy in out leagu...

Selling a Vixen to pay electric bill.
I have two Vixens but, I'm near poverty. Is Craig s List a place to use, is it reliable? I know their are all types of scammers and shysters every where. My 2006 Vixen has the forward riser, is in really good shape. Simmons 4 X scope top mounted Quiver and 4 gold Tip bolts to go with it I have camoe...

It's been awhile,
since I've been on here. First hope you buds have happy holidays. Don't want to just whine but to me I've had extensive back problems. No surgery yet, but had the 3 inch needles punctured in there 3 times. I used to be known on here as curmudgeon, but being unable to continue that user name here, I ...
