Gorillas at Wal Mart

I just picked up a Gorilla King Kong at Wally World today. :D $90 including safety harness. It comes with a thick seat pad and a back pad as well. Pretty good deal I thought, and I needed another stand anyways. I have it on a tree in the yard and I love the size - pretty comfy. I guess I'll be in a ...

Carp Sportsmans Show

Got back from the show a couple hours ago. This was the first time for me at this show and I thought it was pretty good for a show in a small town. I didn't pick up too much, just some finishing touches - an extra F.F.F. string, some scent killer, and a bag of pepperettes(like a visit to any show) :...

Same here bigugly. I do alot of driving for work so I pass alot of homes that have apples falling from their trees. I also find that people are more than happy for someone who can pick them up for them. One guy I got apples from said that he raked up a bunch already this year and told his wife "...

Thanks for the info Chris, thats what I thought. Had to make sure. And yeah, I think for 64A here, all the additionals are for antlerless only. I will find out for sure when I pick one up. If I had realized all the additionals were for antlerless only I wouldn't have bothered entering the draw.

Bear encounters?

I just moved into WMU 64A a few months back. I have already seen a blackie at about 20 yards when he/she popped out of the ditch when I was walking my young lad. I'm just wondering if anyone has come across one at thier apple pile while they were hunting. Now that I've seen one in the area, I'd be l...

Got my antlerless for 64A yesterday, I guess they're all startin to pour out now. I think I'm gonna go out and get my additional next week, I gotta go by Kemptville anyways. Hope they got some left. On a side note, I know when you're successful in the draw that the tag says "valid for antlerles...

All of the above. I've got myself about 50 pounds of apples that I'm keeping in the freezer till I can't get any more. This is not a problem yet, as I drive around alot with my job and have no problem(yet) getting permission to pick apples up off peoples yards. I find most people would love for some...

Just to add to this, some regions require the hunter to carry written permission from the landowner while hunting. I think Peel is still this way. I believe the MNR have a standard form letter on thier website to print, fill out and get the landowner to sign.
