I will do some sighting in this weekend while I have daylight hours to play in. I still have my Exocet, so I won't have to stop hunting at least.

I think I will start with the arrows I've been using with my Exocet (2216's & 100gr Thunderheads) and go from there.

Has anyone had any issues with the Firebolts? A friend of mine has had consistency issues with them in the past. Was thinking of going to Gold tips instead. I don't have a whole lot of carbon arrow experience.

Well that's not what I wanted to hear. And it's certainly not the case with my Exocet. It shoots them well(Thunderheads). With aluminums, that is.

Just picked up a Phoenix that came with Excal's Firebolts. It has a Vari-zone scope on it. I put my 100gr Thunderheads on and I am getting very inconsistent groups even at 20yds(shot 4 arrows).
