How to line up fletching with broadhead blades?

Hi all, So it's "that time" again to start thinking about preliminary preparations for the upcoming archery season this fall here in the northern Pennsylvania mountains. I got my Equinox last year too late for the season, but have been practicing with it, getting the feel for the firebolts...

Re: Excalibur Arrows w/ Lightnoks?

I have not seen them posted on the Excal site. However I have seen these on the Lumenok site. They are firebolts in sets of 3 with Lumenoks already installed. $55 for 3.

Re: Do crossbows shoot bolts or arrows?

It's just one more thing for folks to argue about that don't like crossbows. I have killed deer with GoldTip Series 22 carbon shafts fired out of my Exomax and my compound bow. The one fired out of my compound bow is longer (29" vs 20") and therefore heavier. The only difference in the co...

Re: Green Bay Packers

I'm from New England so obviously I'm not super happy with the choices here, but I will say that Aaron Rodgers is the man.

Re: For those who use Luminox, question

I see that the Firenocks come in "C" and "F" models. The "C" model is listed as a semi-crescent shape that is supposed to be compatible with Firebolts. The F is flat like the stock nocks. Which would be the better one to use, or is it just preference? I am concerned by ...

For those who use Luminox, question

I am considering getting some Luminox for my Firebolts. A question for those familiar with them--which ones will fit correctly? The Firebolts have flat backs instead of the half-moon nock that was typical on arrows for my old Bear bow.

Could use some guidance...thanks.

Re: tough choice on stock color.........

The timber looks just like the laminate on my old Bear Grizzly takedown bow. Very nice. Reminds me of pine forests in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The Brandy looks a little psychedelic and is a bit much, like staring at a stained glass window while listening to Dark Side of the Moon in the ...
