Re: Last ride for an old friend

Very sad time. Putting a dog down is horrible, but sounds like she had a fulfilled life and glad no decision had to be made. My dogs are my fur kids , they are family. Sorry for your loss.

Re: Scopes

I have a Lumizone and I love it. Best of both worlds with a normal black "fine" crosshair, and the ability to control the brightness of red glow as the sun sets is so darn sweet. You can pinpoint a dark object in a darkening forest floor almost like cheating. I saw the prototypes at the No...

Re: Crossbow differences

I have a vortex, and just got an axiom..(aluminum rail). I love shooting both. Both are dead nuts on. I will use the vortex for deer season and shoot the Axiom year round. And use it for a backup or "lend" to the guy with the sweet property :). Either way 2 Excals are better than 1. Do I s...

Re: Beef vs. Venison

Its all how you process your deer and prepare the meat. Letting it hang (cold) does wonders. The longer the better. Early season, we skin and remove limbs at knees, and we hang in a hollowed out refrigerator with a hook bolted through the top of fridge. It's our hillbilly early season meat locker. I...
