We were having bad luck with boltcutters and x-acts on turkey. Tried the NAP FOC 170gr crossbow broadhead. Four shots, four turkeys. Accuracy is good and maximum damage. I love Excaliburs broadheads for deer but these are a major improvement for turkey.

My 10 yr. old shot a small buck this morning with her new AR in 6.8 mm that I mentioned in the previous post. Very satisfied with the 6.8. I've put a lot of thought in this over the last two years, especially concerning rilels. That said, why not start with a Vixen II now? They are lighter than most rifles, no bang, no recoil. Did you buy a phoenix rail separately or buy the pink furniture separately? Have you used the mount in the field? Does she like it and does it hold up well? I think I am going to order one for my daughter for her vixen ii.

I shot spitfire xp's and x-act's. The x-act's were twice as accurate. I was not happy with the performance of the spirtfire's. Buy some x-act's.
