11 out of 12 arrows at 100 yards into a pumpkin

Hi everybody,
I have been playing a round with the Vertical Crossbow at 100 yards. It is unbleivile how accurate this thing is.
Check out the last six shot (unedited) video. This thing is fun to shoot!

Great video! It makes you think of all of the different applications. Older folks and guy's with bad shoulders, that have a bow already, will love this thing. This In-Line Drawloc makes shooting a bow easy.

You will use the arrow rest hole(s). The best rest to use is the whisker biscuit or one like it (Tri Van).

Re: In-Line Draw-loc on my Mathews SB XT

18 posts jag and 14 of them on draw-locs. Hmmmm you Super 91 as well? You have seen super 91's video at the beginning of this post, here is mine. I met him at the ATA show in January and ordered a one of our units. Some people are very suspicious. Wheelie, maybe you have played that game yourself. ...

Re: In-Line Draw-loc on my Mathews SB XT

Warranty? If I have $1,000.00 invested in my Mathews bow setup, and I hurt my shoulder, do you think I will worry about a warranty? Set of limbs for a Mathews bow will run me around $125.00. Other than limbs, what else could go wrong? The limbs of a crossbow are the same as a compound bow, (call an...

Re: In-Line Draw-loc on my Mathews SB XT

Welcome back Jag! What is the advantage of having a draw lock over a crossbow, assuming one doesnt already own a compound before an injury? also assuming the crossbow isnt banned in my home state/province? Hi One Shot, There are a number of reasons: weight is less, 1/2 the draw poundage, a lot easi...

Re: Vertical bow vs. crossbow accuracy

Dash You are right, crossbows are very accurate, off a rest, but are they as accurate or easy to shoot in a free hand, standing style? An "average Joe" can shoot a good group at 30 yards after a little practice with a compound bow, but can that be achieved so easily with a crossbow? I have...

Re: Vertical bow vs. crossbow accuracy

The In-Line Crossbow would be the bow to test it on. Another theory: maybe the limbs sticking out away from the center of the bow (horizontal) makes it more touchy than if everything was in line (vertical). If this has something to do with it, maybe the shorter the crossbow, the better. Anyone notic...

Re: Vertical bow vs. crossbow accuracy

So, In general, most would say that a compound bow is easier to shoot and is more accurate than a crossbow from a standing, free handed style of shooting. Right? If that is the case, is there something mechanical to it? Maybe the way the string moves in the vertical movement? Or maybe it is the way ...

Re: NY'ers can now use a DRAW LOCK???

What I can't understand is, if there is no difference in the limbs of a crossbow and compound bow, what is it that your going to hurt. The 6061 aluminum riser, or maybe it is the strings or cables that are made out of the material as a crossbow? It just less strands because of the much higher pounda...
