Free video
Ran across a copy of The Hunting Crossbow from Excalibur. I believe they gave these out when you bought a new bow. It's in VHS format. Box looks good so I assume video works. Free to first one who pm's me. Not really interested in shipping,so someone in the Kitchener/Waterloo area is best. Thx os

Home Hardware in New Hamburg carries the Muck boot line. Got my eye on a pair of the Wetlands for pheasant hunting.

If it's rusty you will need to scrub out the rust with hot water and a stainless steel scrubber. Then give it a light coating with cooking oil and bake it upside down in a 400 degree oven or BBQ for one hour. After it cools you can give it a very light oiling before putting away. Crossbows are totally legal for use during Ontario's bowfishing season. The definition of bow and arrow in the regulations includes "all long bows and crossbows"

Our township considers bows/crossbows as firearms and you may not discharge them in a settlement area. However one of the exceptions that allow you to discharge within settlement areas is for the purpose of bow fishing. This comes directly from our township bylaws website. Take a day trip to the Penetang/Midland area. They have boat cruises on Georgian Bay, Martyrs Shrine and Ste Marie among the Hurons just to name a few things. I switched to 200lb FF last year and find I get a lot of tangles. Was hoping the 400 might be less prone to this. I will stop the thread hijack now lol.
