I can shoot 3 1/2 inch groups at 75 yards and it buries the bolt over half way in my block fusion with my buck commander, i wouldnt hesitate with a shooting stick on a deer at that range.

They have a tendency to open up in flight from a crossbow from what ive heard.

Week 3 Bay County, probably bear creek, alot of gators around there.What I really want to draw is the sambar deer permit on ST. Vincent Island, things are like elk in Florida, maybe next June when special opportunity lottery comes back around.

With the stock firebolts(except with 3" vanes) and 125 grain tips im shooting 3" groups at 50 yards. Your excal will perform with just about any set up, all that other stuff is just fine tuning. The xbow will shoot better than all of us.

The rope cocker that comes with it should already be really short, mine was atleast, dont think it could be shorter and still be able to use it
