It comes as a powder or liquid and you add it to soil and it is supposed to hold minerals that attract deer. I remembered seeing it used a few years back on a hunting show and the deer would dig up a pile of soil to get at this stuff. My gut says gimic but I couldnt resist trying it.

Deer Cane

I picked up some deer Cane to go with my apples and barley/corn mix and wondered if anyone has had any experience with it. The guy at my bow shop said that he hasnt tried it but had heard good things. Any input would be great!

Thanks

I have both bolts and find the Bemans to be far more durable than the gold tips....with that said I hunt with gold tips fitted with wasp boss 100s. The just seem to fly nicer.

Registering firearms

If I were to buy an unregistered firearm and than registered it myself would there be any problems in regards to it not being registered already. I currently hunt with all of my fathers (registered) firearms but may have a chance at purchasing my own but am worried about the possibility of finding a...

Bait effectiveness

Just wondering what kind of bait you guys are using. I used to love corn but with the infestation of wild turkeys any grains are more or less out of the picture. I used apples and had some success. The pond in my forest is an awesome watering hole but the newly acquired property I would like to hunt...

Its the diesel one with all of the fixings. Will post a picture when I get a chance. My dad also picked up another farm a cou...

Where to get apples

I used to get apples to use for bait at Accuracy Plus in Peterborough for $6 a bushell but they no longer sell them. Does anyone know of anywhere within an hour drive of peterborough that sells bulk apple seconds??
Thanks

Richard
