FFF

I have a new Exocet 200 and I just put a FFF string on it. 1. both ends of the string have 2 little tag ends sticking out. I assume thats normal? 2. Where are you guys setting the string in relation to the marks on the deck? I assume the bow would be faster with it set closer to the riser. Right now...

16 - 20' depending on the tree and which stand I have with me

if the tree has some cover and I am using one of my fixed stands...usually about 15-16' to the platform

if its a limbless tree and I am using my climber....usually about 20' to the platform...maybe sometimes slightly higher

one also needs to take into consideration the energy an arrow possesses at long ranges

I would be interested to see someone fire their xbow thru a chrono at 50-60 yards just to see how fast its still goin

imo when you see rubs as large as your arm...you have a pretty decent buck around when you see rubs like in the center of the last pic....you have a very large buck in the area by large I mean in body...often a large rack to match the body but not always large bodied buck like large bodied trees to ...
