Good one Comfybear  If that is true Chris4570 I would love to know. How sick is it when we pay the mnr to control us so that we do not over harvest. Then they wait until the deer are so over populated that extra tags are needed and we have to pay for them again to fix what we already paid them ...

Why buy a deer tag?
You are a large land owner and you feed the deer all year round. Corn,Oats, Hay plus natural forage. Having the deer eat your plants and hay costs you $$ every year. Should you still pay for a tag or just harvest your venison responsibly?
This is an open ? to all.

Feed vs Food plots.
What works best for you? I think that using feeders is more simple though you do have to refresh the feeders. Were as food plots take more work in the start but may be more cost effective.

Taste of deer meat?
This time of year when the deer are eating alot of everdreens I was told that the meat will taste like crap. Is this true? I might have a chance to get some meat from a deer that was hit by a car but thought it a waste of time to cut up if it is going to taste so bad.

MNR written response to high fence hunting.
My letter followed by mnr letter. Subject:Hunting Comment:I have been put into a hard place by this new law on game farm hunting. I love my country but can no longer stand-by while the government tells people what they can and cannot do with the land they have worked hard for and paid their taxes on...
