Re: CARRYING CASES

35mm film containers, holding broadheads, field points, grapplers and small game heads. Blue bag is stringing aid and spare strings.
It is seldom used, not exactly convenient for short hunts, but for travel it is very compact and solid.

Re: CARRYING CASES

Compound case, added some straps to secure everything. Bow fit like it was made for it, no cutting, just fits. Everything has a place.

Re: Retrieving SD card images to iphone?

My son ordered a couple of the little cables from China, less that $2 for 3 of them. Plugs in to the bottom of the phone, and responds to any USB device, wireless mouse, keyboard, thumb drive, and in this case, a card reader. When you plug it in the phone immediately responds as a 3rd hard drive, an...

Re: Cold weather bow issues?

Only issue, is covering your eyes as the string clears the rail of ice when you pull the trigger. I take care of my triggers, some can't be replaced, but as far as cold, you bow does NOT know the difference. I have hunting toys I treasure, I also have some I beat up so bad I have nothing left for th...

Re: Budget Scent Controll

There is no substitute for the wind.
I use a product called "Sport wash", from wallmart. Not just because it is absolutly scent free, but it is also good for waterproof material, like most hunting clothes, it will not fade colors either.
Usually found in the sporting goods section.

Re: Lighted Nocks or Not?

My son uses Luminoks, the arrows were built by Big John, he included some nocks that are the exact same weight as the Luminoks for practice. However, my son, like most, only practices with what he hunts with.
Hmm. That post made me feel oddly old.

Re: Deer decoy

I have an inflatable decoy called "EZ DOE", what makes it neat is there is a small removable box that the tail is on, it is remote control, push the button from a stand and the tail moves in a way that comforts other deer. I just use the tail and box, bungee it to a tree. An experienced hu...

Re: Rangefinder Mount

I used to, it worked well. I added a momentary switch to minimize movement. It worked well.
That mount, is the brain child of a lost member, Awshucks, he came up with the concept.

Re: It's happened..one week old micro...

I don't believe I would leave mine cocked for days, don't know but would seem at some point it would have to affect the memory in the limbs,,,,, http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/public/style_emoticons/default/Idontknow.gif Not likely to happen. I would leave my Exocet cocked for week...

Re: Lighted Nocks or Not?

Illuminated nicks make a night and day difference when you are running video on a hunt, they show up well during playback. Other than that, I see no need.

Re: It's happened..one week old micro...

Heres an attempt at some pics - again I know it looks small, but the second I heard a pop and looked down to spot the crack in the core part of the limb I unloaded the bow to avoid anything dangerous happening. I am pretty sure that nothing "dangerous" will happen, the way the limbs are b...

Re: Speculation thread on the limbs breaking....

The micro makes my heart beat funny. First time I seen it I was sure it would be too small for me. I was wrong, everything about it felt right. Right now I use my wife's bow, and will continue to do so until this is fixed. Ibex for me. Won't win any coolness points in a bow show, but it let's me foc...
