Re: Work Sharp Owners Question

The Work Sharp brand diamond grit belts come in two grits, I understand. I have no nicks or gaps to grind out, so the fine grit should do the trick. Do you recall which one you have? Is it the W.S. brand? Why is it still new?  I cooked two Work sharps. Fried them. I have many, ma...

Re: A

A simple reminder to the days when the Internet had information. Rather buy a k-itchen. Hunting season none the less.

Re: shooting chronographs

I use a basic F4, far from fancy, but it works very well. Shot it last week with a high power pellet rife, I had to do some surgery with epoxy, still works great though! It's nice to get numbers from tweaking a bow, and a very important tool for reloading.

Re: Think before you buy neoprene boots

I got 5 years from my Mucks, they just developed a leak. I love them! Trick is to go one size big, much warmer that way. I may try a different style boot this year, just to see.

Re: Shooting Through Ground Blind Screen

I have done extensive testing on this subject. All with Slick Tricks. The mesh does not affect POI at all. Shot from 10 to 50 yards, no difference. I went as far as to wet a screen and freeze it, still absolutly not even the slightest shift. I was surprised at the results, I was expecting something,...

Re: Screening and Moderation

This place is a mess. I look after a hunting site with 12000+ members, gets a 100 posts for every one this one gets. It's ugly here. SPAM!.. Moderation is an act, not a title.

Re: Bow Fishing

Here in Canada we can't use crossbows for bowfishing, My personal opinion is that an Excalibur, any of them, would be too much. My current bow is a dedicated bowfishing setup. It is a compound that can be shot at any draw length, no let off. Full draw is like any othe bow in respect to speed, but I ...

Re: Big chief electric smoker

I was always against electric, then tried one. Priced up a Big Chief at a garage sale, 5 bucks and it came with 4 milk crates of different blends of wood, store bought new bags. I am very happy with the results I am getting from it. I still prefer a real fire, but the flavor difference is minimal.

Re: Boo custom strings and Trigger tech

I burn the fuzz off with a lighter. The serving should keep the metal from contacting the string, so fuzzy is ok, it is the separation you have to watch for.

Re: Boo custom strings and Trigger tech

I used to be paranoid about my brace height, monitor it with a micrometer. I have had the same Boo string on my bow for about 7 years. It isn't as pretty as it was when I got it, but it is flawless with performance. It doesn't creep, and it has never let me down. Couldn't count the 1000s of arrows i...
