I use a cardboard bow filled with old carpet underlay. Its about 2'x2'x2' with an open face for broadheads about 1'x1'. Works great too but dont leave it in the rain, the foam expands and bursts the box, but duct tape works fine to fix it.

If you want to make things easyer, just bring the allen key for the stirrup with you and take it off after you load your bow. But dont miss, you really have one shot before you have to put your stirrup back on.

If you use the search bar you will also find a ton of useful info on anything. When I started up recently I took an afternoon just searching through all of the things I needed to know about, and now I can say I have a basic understanding of some of this.

Oh and seriously, I wouldnt think twice about using a Vixen on Moose. Its still almost as powerful as the others, but its not as pretty. I personaly have a Pheniox and it works wonders on targets this time of year. I also forgot to mention in my earlyer post that if your not going to go hunting till...

If anyones thinking of doing it, I got this DVD for Christmas: Outdoor Edge Deer Processing 101. They go through EVERYTHING! They even show optional ways to cape your deer for a shoulder mount. And ofcourse, they spend over an hour showing you how to properly cut it up. $20 at basspro or cabelas.

Im going to buy a peice of real hard wood and do it by hand. I dont use my xbow everyday either, so it is not in my interest to spend $30 for a peice of metal that could be made out of wood. I already have the tools to make it, so its just giving me something to do.

Im not from the area, but im looking on your website, and im wondering... where can I buy an aligator 3d target(#15)? what are you going to do with the aligator at the end of the night? I think it would be worth the cost to have one set up in my backyard in Ontario, and have my neighbours wondering ...
