Re: Some Things Might Change
Wow, a lot of names that are no longer with us. I remember the cause and the outpouring of generosity. Can't believe that it was that long ago.

Re: Dissapator Pad on an Exocet 200
Just take the other pad off and shoot it with the arms in place. I rarely shoot mine with the pads installed. You don't have to buy the complete assembly to get new pads. Pads themselves are available for around $20. The Archers Nook in London carries them.

Re: Holy Cow, Batman!!
If you frequent eBay or Amazon you will often see the same outrageous shipping costs. My inlaws winter in the USA, and I sometimes have things shipped to their US address (quite often for free), and have them forward it to me for a fraction of the price.

My Wolverine. Limbs have been upgraded to magtips, and an over the top Danny Miller quiver mount added.

Re: Venting and asking for input
I see two issues. 1) Lack of payment when the job is complete. 2) A two year backlog of work. The first one is easier if you address them both. Asking for full payment upon order is totally reasonable for custom work. But having to wait two deer seasons for delivery leaves a lot of room for forgetf...

Harvest your deer in October!
I know what you mean. I think every cold weather hunter deals with this, and everybody has their own way to deal with it. I really can't add anything that hasn't already been said.

After looking at that rig, I'm thinking that something similar could be used for making a hanging stand for a bag target.

Re: String sales in trading post
Hey wheelie, I've asked/suggested before that the trading post can only be bumped after 1 week by the original poster, and let no others post on any of the adds, contact the seller through pm's only, it will keep the clutter down.... Yep, that's the way to do it. I visit other forums, and that is h...

Re: Of Splintering limbs and grave disappointment
Sorry folks, but I can't see spending the $$$$ for a new product, then having to buy spare parts as insurance! They should be made right the first time! If they can't be made to last then perhaps it's time to look for something more reliable. (Which would probably mean higher recommended arrow weig...

Re: Warranty Vixen's Limbs
Most people don't realize it by our full lifetime warranty was not offer until 2010, before that it was a 5 year warranty from the date of purchase. After that period warranty will be given at Excalibur's discretion for the lifetime of the original owner. Heck, I bought my first new Excalibur in th...

Re: broadheads that will group with field points?
I'm just a dumb a** shooting a Exomag, but have found that my 125 Slicks group within an inch of my field points. Maybe I just got lucky, or maybe I know what I'm doing, but I am a happy camper.

Re: OT smokeless powder shortage
While it appears that most Savage shooters in the USA have access to at least one of the half dozen or so powders that provide good results, that can't be said in Canada. The powders just aren't available here. Many dealers have been backordered for a year or more.

Re: A HEX FROM WYNNE THE WICKED WITCH
Is it 10 bucks that's going back into our natural resources like fees were intended? I bet not. But if it were to help moose #'s I'd be glad to pay.(I don't even hunt moose). Are we reopening one of the closed hatcheries? A couple of new C.O's? What do we have now? 5? Are our licenses been printed ...
