decoys

Decoys are a lot of fun when they work. You are right when you say they spook as many deer as they draw in, but it's pretty cool when they do work.

prepping vanes

Heard some where that if you use a fast set glue you should not wipe the vanes down with acetone only the shaft. Is this true or should I prep the vanes aswell?

Thanks

prepping shafts

What do you recommend when prepping bolts. Denatured alcohol, or acetone? I will be doing carbon and aluminum bolts. Or is there something better yet?

Thanks

Thanks guys, I really like these heads. Yes I have had quite a few blades break but never completely break off, they always stay intack for me anyhow. Off to the bow shop I guess.

Thanks

wasps

Anyone here use the old wasp cam lock 130gr broadheads. I love em and am wondering about their availability. Can you get the heads or blades any more and if so where.

Thanks

what size?

What size/width of arrow wrap fits on a gold tip laser II shaft properly? My guess was 1.125 inches but am prone to wrong figuring at times. Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Custom Gad string

I have had my new string from forum member Gad for a while now and can say without a doubt that he puts pride in his strings. The center serving is nice and tight and looks great, the end loops are even and look perfect. Gus told me that there would be very little strech to this string and he was ri...

custom kenny string

My custom xbow kenny string arrived in the mail today. The workmanship that went into this string is wonderful. The serving is flawless and tight. The cat wiskers are served on and look like they're there to stay. The thickness of the string is really nice aswell. Shot one bolt just to hear what the...

Spay lacquer

Was reading a thread about spraying lacquer cresting instead of an arrow wrap. What type of lacquer(accylic?) Who makes it and where can I find it in Ontario?
