Interesting stuff, just wanted to keep this @ the top to see if Peter or Bill T will respond. By the way, how do you accurately measure your power stroke on your xbow? Doesn't it always depend on your uncocked string position on the riser ? :) You can either measure from the 1" brace height to...

They wouldn't be planning to switch the Vixen to the new riser, would they? If they used the riser with the forward pitched limbs it would require shortening the power stroke to reduce weight. Perhaps the inch differance is to keep the two models close to specs?  ..Time well tell Wabi....

Looks like the power stroke changed but the fps is still the same. If that were true, it would disobey the laws of physics. The true of the matter is that those fps figures are only a guideline of what to expect. I've seen different individual bows of the same model generate speeds either faster or...

BigBear, I shoot 18.5" goldtips with a brass inset and 4" parabolic feather fletching. With 100 grain points arrow weight is just under 380 grains. They chronographed at 296 fps out of my Phoenix with excel string. I also have some goldtips fletched with vanes that I shortened to 18.5&quo...
