Re: Faces and Names

Ouch :) Gotta say it took some will power to re-locate this guy after he bit my dog. The only reason I can think of that Massassaugas are protected is 'cause they're too stupid to survive on their own. He was sunning himself less than 20' from our front door. Put him in the bush the first day. He ca...

Re: What am I missing?

They're re-usable, sharpenable, and if necessary, you can replace the blades.

Re: What am I missing?

First of all, thanks to wheelie and the others for their thoughts. The only thing I intend to add is a cheek piece to help me line up to the scope consistently. I bought a lite stuff pkg. Added 6 bolts, 3 broadheads, extra target points and wax. I have a sling that I use with my 'limbless' bows. I d...

Let's see, doing the math ... just a shade over 600 gr. integral tip/shaft, no fletching :)

Guess I need a cool nickname ...

Re: Toronto Sportsman Show

I can't say I need anything at the show that would be a good enough deal to offset the cost of a six-hour round-trip in my gas-guzzlin' truck :)

Unless my wife 'needs' to go to Ikea, then we could add a Bass Pro stop and call it an outing. A very expensive outing :)

Thanks for posting that. The sound they make reminds me of the time I put a diaper pin through my son's skin.

He's 25 now, and still not right. :)

Re: a squirrel

Me being raise as a city boy for 32 years, I am now a hillbilly I was told! Yahooooo!!!!!!!! Finally accepted as a country squirrel. My city friends call me a "country bumkin". Even though I was raised on a farm, when we moved to the Bruce Peninsula I've been told "you ain't from aro...

Re: Varizone or Lumizone

I just bought a new package from a walk-in store. The dealer was quite happy to swap the scopes for me in-store.
I imagine if you call an on-line retailer, they would do the same. I paid $30 upgrade from Varizone to Lumizone.

Re: Stock field points ... weight?

Miller Lake can be good for bass, and Cameron Lake, just a bit further up the road, has some decent pickerel (Walleye to our US friends :) )

Pike are everywhere. My buddy is a bass snob, but my honey likes anything caught fresh!
