Re: Jaguar Crossbows...
Like pikemaster said we have alot of OPIONS whatever they are, but it is kind of interesting that the argument switched to china stealing our inventions when in fact the crossbow was INVENTED IN CHINA about or before 500 BCE. Excalibur just perfected it.

I know this is a bit off topic, but, has anyone actually shot through the 'shoot through' screens ? I'm too affraid it will change the trajectory/ speed of what I'm shooting be it gun or crossbow. I've just put up with the bugs. Thoughts? Thanks.

Re: Filet Knife Give away!
I don't qualify on the posts count, but holy smokes Griz, the knives you've shown us in the last little while are true works of art and master craftsmanship. I wondered what wood you used on the skinning knife handle and it looks to be that same iron wood. Man that must not be easy to work with 'cau...

"What guns and crossbows ? I don't own any of those things mister soon to be EX-government official. Your records from the since abolished gun registry must be incorrect. You have a nice day now, just be careful on your way out !" That's why your vote matters !

Re: Wild Turkeys
Lot's of Ruffies in the north and they are generally very easy to hunt once you find them. They're not used to humans and therefore aren't that scared of us. No calls needed, just hop off your quad, leave it running and shoot yourself a yummy chicken. At least that's my experience. They're alot more...

Re: Can't get new Axiom to cock.....
You might also try to not use your arms to pull the rope. I know that sounds strange but keep your arms relatively straight and use the bigger muscles of your back and shoulders to pull the rope up to the cocking position. Assuming you have fairly good integrity in those areas. This should take some...

Re: Video camera
I work in broadcast television and we've used those go-pros many times. We started using them in situations where we thought the camera might not survive the shot and they weren't expensive. Then we found that the pictures were really good and the protective housing worked really well and they were ...

Re: Hawk Attack
Last moose season I had a red tailed hawk come at me. I was sitting real still on this swamp, there had been a mouse crawling over me a little earlier. I moved my gloved fingers a little and looked up, I saw the hawk circling the swamp and then I noticed it was on final approach ! It was coming stra...

Nicely done, nice bird, now you need to shoot some cranberries and mashed potatoes. Hopefully I'll be able to share also, but it's nice to see things work out so well ! Congratulations.
