It is the world's finest crossbow. Workmanship, accuracy, and warranty are beyond reproach. So glad that it is made in Canada as well. Very happy and satisfied to own one. My 1997 Exocet is all I will ever need. It will outlast me, and as such, will be included in my will.

Good to hear. I have not used it, but everyone raves about it. Must be a really good product. Will it be for sale in Canada?

Re: Looking for Ontario Bear Outfitter Recommendations
DO NOT go with Opimika Camp in eastern North Bay. Totally a waste of time. The guy running it has no control of his BMA. People going on atv's trying to hunt grouse. Dickheads running amok with a promise from native Indians to get a Moose. His name is Mike Shepard. His lodgings are total garbage. He...

Re: twisting the string to shorten it
Hi. An excellent question. Me, I twist in each direction as I hold the string in my hands. What's good for the left is also good for the right. Keeping it equal and centered is what I try to achieve.

Re: Meat Grinder Recommendations
Hi. I purchased a grinder from Cabela's and I love it. Got the 1/2 horsepower model. It does a terrific job. As fast as I pitch in the meat, it is gone out the end of the machine. Stuffing tubes are included. Stainless steel hopper/tray.
Extremely efficient, quiet, and powerful.

This just plain sucks! Thieves deserve to rot in the bush. Hope the Piece Of Sh*t gets caught and punished dutifully.

Re: How Far Deer Travel After The Shot
Whenever air to the lungs runs out or whenever the brain goes dead due to lack of nerve transmission. That yardage is not calculable. Every animal is unique. Part of the total hunt exhilaration! Keep on hunting, and best wishes for a successful harvest too. Make your shot the best you can. The anima...

Very nice hunting spot you have Michael. Nice trio of tracking dogs too. Go for a lung shot next time, and let those dogs do some work. I am sure they all would appreciate it.
Take care and happy hunting. H.P.D.

Food Saver has been doing a great job for me. Mine is 4 years old. Buy the value pack of rolls at Costco for about $40. That's 4- 11 inch and 2- 8 inch.

Beautiful New Brunswick bear. You should be very happy, especially because it's your first. What plans do you have for the hide and the meat? If you have any tips on cooking/processing bear, I would appreciate hearing from you.

Re: Pondering a Bear Kill
Hi. A lot of people are turned off by bear meat. The animals do have a lot of fat, especially going into the Fall season. However, you can "tame the game" by careful trimming and utilizing various cooking methods. Just be aware that bear meat needs to be cooked very thoroughly due to trich...

Re: Ground blind shoot thru mesh
It makes perfect sense that anything striking your arrow between your launch and the intended target, has the ability to make your point of impact move. That may be negative or positive. Your arrow is intended to fly unobstructed until it hits what you aimed at. I have zero faith in "shoot thro...
