Normaly you ajust your scope dead on at 20 yards, then you shoot it at 50 yards, and ajust the compensation ring to get it dead on at th 50 yard line.Then recheck the 20 yards shot ,it should be right on.

Ray check for the minimum draw to hunt.Most of the place are 40# at 28" so if you want to try hunting you should have a 42# at 27.5 " to be safe.
That is a new game but you will love it.
