My only experience is with 2 moultrie cameras that i have.
Both use 6 volt batteries.
Ive had problems with them in real cold weather but i mostly use them now from august to december and the batteries are fine.I use rechargeable batteries from forest city surplus in guelph.

Hey eco
Thats a great pic.
One question,,,,,Do you have any luck with a decoy in the bush?
I used one during the rut and the bucks couldnt see it well enough.Ive found on the field edges the decoy is great.

I also use carbon express with my exocet.
I use them with the half moon nocks.
Ive found them to be heavier than my previous easton aluminums but doesnt the weight give them more kinetic energy????

Winter Wheat

Has anybody in ontario had any experience with late season deer hunting over/near winter wheat?
Ive got 3 fields that have been planted at various times.Im just wondering does anyone know if deer prefer the younger wheat or older wheat?

Ive read that deer have a certain blood clotting agent in there body which can actually stop the blood from flowing,,,,amazing creatures.
