the Guillotine doesn't cause a lot of damage to the meat, it is supposed to be used for neck shots, to decapitate the turkey. Hence to body remains undamaged. I keep my wax in my shooting kit, and apply it directly before a shooting session. If I shoot for an extended period, I apply some when ever I get a chance to take a break. I never put any on after shooting. Although I do like the idea of the warm string..... maybe I will start waxing after shooting...
