they shoot nice at 50 yards , i practice regularly with them , i prepare bolts to shoot accurate at longer ranges 5 inch vanes good foc etc , youll be pleasantly surprised , for hunting i use a heavier setup to maintain those joules at longer ranges youll be pleasantly surprised
