i have one , lubing it helps , i dont use firebolts but it is also tight on 2219 shaafts, but if i lube it a bit it helps alot , you can try , after awhile it kinda breaks in

oh i agree , i guess thing is to get really familiar wih weapon , i shoot about 120 shots a week , and get to know what its capable of , only reason is have taken and made clean kills on long shot 55 yds like that , but i do know where to hold and what bow will do , was just afraid there was a preco...

i have an exomax absolutely love it have an axiom too love it too, never shot an equinox, but havent really heard of anyone getting an excal and flat out not liking it good luck!!!

i get about 306 shooting 512 grain set, using exomax , really dont need more than that,not to say it will never happen , or hasnt but ive never had a deer jump an xbow shot, had it happen with compound, has anyone ver heard of them jumping an xbow shot or had it happen?

yes theres not alot of flex but there is flex and they do recover , depending on type and length you shoot, keep in mind tho that the energy used to flex them is greater , even tho xbows they are inefficient , it is negligible tho moreso than with a compound i will agree

i take a feed bag pack them with old clothes , stops the field points , i dont know about nbroadheads i never practice shoot them never had to if you have same weight grain and align with fletching you wont have any probs

well put , one of the things i like in strings is one that has low stretch low creep, thats a good start , altho with excals , to twist one up a few notches is a cinch

the answer to that depends on type of shaft , when bolt leaves xbow it flexes and has a brief recovery time which is usually a few feet before it stabilizes, different shafts have different recovery time distances about 3 feet would be about right for general purposes
