Shooting 3D, I was forever having to look for my camo bow after scoring (having left it at the side of the trail to do so). That is why it is now covered in skulls.
At the very least it would be nice if Excalibur/Bowtech offered all bows in camo AND black. Just my 2 cents.....

Re: Any 3D Shooters On Here? I Have A Few Questions
What paulaboutform has said x 2 I have been shooting my crossbow at 3Ds, indoor and outdoor, for years. Club shoots usually don’t care about speed. IBO or up here provincial or national 3D shoots do care about speed and equipment used. Unless shooting K50, rangefinders are not allowed. Binoculars ar...

What VixChix said x 2.
Martix and Micro threads seem to be dominating. Would like the chance of one stop shopping and get right to information 100% related to the older bows.

Re: HHA Optimizer Disappointment - RAIN!!!
G'day VixChix, When I get a replacement tape I will run a strip of clear packing tape around the whole dial. The yardage tape has dried flat again over night. The pain is that a chunk of the tape is now missing due to the surface plastic coating sticking to my thumb and pulling away. :( Other than t...

HHA Optimizer Disappointment - RAIN!!!
Went to a 3D tournament yesterday in Madawaska Ontario. A huge rugged course. NICE. This was going to be my chance to use my new rig with the Leupold and HHA Optimizer. Unfortunately it rained all day. Still had fun until halfway through the morning and my yardage tape's edges started lifting. It wa...

Re: Excalibur Scopes
Though I am currently using a Leupold with a HHA Optimizer, my back up is a Twilight DLX scope. It is very bright with fine crosshairs. Dead on for 3D (that is all I shoot). Switched to my current rig to get away from multiple chevrons. The Twilight scope is still attached to its rings (as well as a...

Re: HHA Optimizer Setup
Thanks for your reply. I guess I should have explained my self more in my first post. I have already determined the tape that SHOULD work according to HHA's instructions. I am after the most accurate way of using the optimizer. HHA has a set up video that shows the shooter (using a 360 fps bow) hitt...

HHA Optimizer Setup
G'day, I am in the process of setting up my HHA Optimizer for 3D. Here is my question, do you folks that own one use the yardage tape that matches your bow or just the set up tape and you have figured out what number on that works out dead on to a particular yardage? I want to use the most accurate ...

Re: FYI- TriggerTech price
I have to disagree this some of you here. I think that the current price is not outrageous. Let's face it good archery equipment, like equipment in other sports, is expensive. Take a look at the prices for Carter releases that compound shooters use. All at or close to $200.00 and have much less part...

Re: 3D crossbow
I have used that trigger in an IBO shoot in New York State, no questions asked, no problem. Technically, a custom string would also void the warranty as it is also after market!

Re: 3D crossbow
Is this what you are after? IBO Crossbow Rules (2013) Crossbows must be standard production crossbows, however, minor modifications such as butt plates, strings, and the like shall be permitted as long as such modifications do not void the manufacturer's warranty or diminish designed safety standard...

Re: 8-32x5/16 Screw
Thanks guys for the tips. I am currently using 3/8 socket screws with a washer to get to factory length. Unfortunately the washers fall well below the bottom of the scope rail mount. Will try using universal wire stripping/crimping tool trick tonight.

8-32x5/16 Screw
I am after 8-32x5/16 to attach the scope rail to the trigger. I am after one with a socket cap or #20 torx head. Every where I go they are either 1/4 inch or 5/8's. Can't find torx head anywhere.
Does any one know where these can be purchased in Canada?
Thanks.
