NAP Quick fletch

Does anyone have any experience with the quick fletch quick spin, twister or speed vanes. The ones that you boil water and dip. Any and all info on them would be great. Or is it better to use a jig and go that route.

Re: removing string without "stringing aid"

Awesome, crossbows are addictive more than vertical bows to me because I've got 2 and I want more....way more. My wife says crossbows should come with a counseling CD by Dr. Phil. Lol

Re: How important is ARC?

Forgive me but I wanted to add a little more. I had a situation like duckhunt described. I would give 100.00 dollars for that inch looking back. The deer looks so much more narrower at steep angles and being off a little seems to magnlfy. I'll probably keep my rangfinder for 15 years or more and if ...

Re: How important is ARC?

I'm not very fond of math but at 40-45 yards the range I feel comfortable I would really like to know exactly the distance to my target. Also when shooting at an animal the whole ball game is different for some as well as natural variances....odd winds, my own bad judgment. I wouldn't like, if given...

Re: Never say "Never"

I'm saving my first dry fire for when I'm shooting at a deer....that's how my luck always seems to go. That's why my beautiful wife always tells me I'm Special!!!!!

Re: off the wall serving material

Thanks for humoring me. I really love shooting crossbows but I personally feel a need to improve serving wear through one avenue or another. I wish I had the time to experiment with different ideas that go racing through my head. I believe it would be a fun challenge. Anyway thanks for your opinions...

Re: ground blind or tree stand???

I like all the different ways. Just depends on the always changing factors involved with hunting and my preference that hunt. As long as I'm hunting I'm a happy camper. The variety of spots and styles makes it new all the time.

off the wall serving material

First I know next to nothing about strings or servings. I was wondering if a serving made from leather would be more durable? If it was configured right. Maybe wider and overlapping like shingles. Is this a stupid idea? Please humor me with your opinion. Just curious.

Re: Fall tests

Houser52 that was an excellent post. The most important thing is you know that you have a self rescue plan doesn't matter what you use as long as it works
I really enjoyed reading your test and strums also.
