Re: tree stand question
A climber is a hard stand to get back into, depending on the person you may have 4 min. Worst case to get blood from pooling in legs. I use the rescue one controlled descent system. Reusable made by mountaineer sports, best one out there mine weighs 6 lbs and actually makes carrying the climber more...

Re: Spitfire BH's
I shot my first deer with 100 grain spitfires this year and was very pleased and impressed. I've used mechanicals for a long time now, my buddy shot one at a pretty steep angle ( why I don't know didn't ask) anyway the spitfire performed great no problems opening and doing it's job pretty much went ...

Re: I need to vent!!
See if your law enforcement friends can get some of the exploding die they use for bank robbers. That stuff never comes off and it's proof of who did it.

interview
I was looking at crossbow magazine online because I purchased a subscription and they had an interview with bill t. ( big cheese of Excalibur) bill did a great job with the interview. I don't know how old the interview is but bill's a down to earth guy that relates to everyday people you can tell. A...

Re: How many came over to excal from compound x-bows?
Been shooting verticals since the 70's, beginning of this year decided to start using crossbows so I ended up buying a tenpoint carbon fusion in April....shot it and found out that I really love shooting crossbows but I found out that crossbows don't like string servings very well for the amount of ...

Re: Scent eliminating sprays... Do they work?
I believe everyone agrees that you can't eliminate your scent but the thing is you really don't know how many times scent dullers have helped you out. I have seen times I believed it did. I know if it helps me kill one deer I'll use it every time, I'm all for every tiny advantage I can have. Stop an...

Re: Poll: The Type of String I Use -Edited
I just got into crossbows and I love it, it's my only hobby now. Shooting a lot is what I enjoy as well as hunting as much as I can working 60- 70 hours a week. I use the JBK custom strings that David sells because they work great and I can get as many as I want in a couple days. I like the extra sp...

Re: 5 common stages of hunting ...
I was in stage 5 for a few years to the point I wouldn't shoot anything unless it was huge not because it was huge just because it was enough to be out and see deer and also at that time I met a new friend that had never shot a buck with his compound so I concentrated on him and helping him fulfill ...

Re: An open letter to all members of this forum
I agree with you Gary, this is the best forum I've been on too and the members make you feel welcome. If you stop and think about it when you buy an Excalibur you get excellent live support right here, should list it in there advertising because it's really that good. I still can't put my finger on ...
