And here it is i am thrilled that they are closing campgrounds because of bears as i will probably be hunting that area in november!!!!

Hope to be seeing many piles of that stuff come october when i start my scouting!!!!

Yes and no, they actually have it managed a little better. They have a pretty good size QDM Area. as well as biologists controlling hunting density ion the different areas has helped quite a bit. <--- that's the yes part

The no part is - They are still NC deer.

Georgiaboy, feel your pain on the military base, i am gonna be hunting on fort bragg this year. But i can tell you deer and hogs both love them acorn rage buck bombs.

Well i have been neding to make somemore strap on ladders for stands so just gonna get some extra 1" tubing and weld one up while i am working on them

If and when i reserve it myself it will be with serving string. This literally looks like the string was kinked. The open spot isn't touching anything while cocked or at rest. maybe i was not waxing enough. Hence why i bought a spare, i am still in the learning curve. Once i get my serving jig made ...

Thas why i am sticking with boo's advice of having time under belt before going to flemish. I am sure it's going to happen at some point. Although with his schedule i am thinking i may need to order a couple now for spring turkey in may.

I favor a tree stand first. It lets me smoke my cig. Glad to see I'm not the only one who has that problem. But if you play the wind right it really doesn't matter. I have had to lay one down on more than one occassion in order to shoot deer. Guilty myself, same prob of had to waste more than one c...

I can speak from experience now in saying that the excalibur x-act mechanicals hit exactly the same as 100 grain field points. Thas what i hope to be layin down with this year.
