Re: Axiom advice
I bought the Axiom last year & took a buck with it. I added the S5's & I shoot the bolts that came with the package, however I did refletch using the 2" Bohning Blazer vanes with Muzzy 125 3 blade BHs I was having trouble getting consistent flight from the BHs until I refletched with the...

Disappointing?
Getting ready for some hunting at the end of the month. Fired up the Axiom for the 1st time since about Jan 2012, How disappointing is this for my very 1st shot, off by at least 3/8" of an inch.(dot is about 1/2" Dia) I think that will get the job done. I'm always amazed everytime I shoot ...

Re: Axiom Rail:
I bought one last year, its an awesome shooter, once you get it sighted in you dont want to shoot the same spot each arrow or you'll be buying alot of arrows, I took a deer last year, shot right thru the heart. Its very accurate.

Welcome. I cant speak of the Phoenix. I bought the Axiom last year all I can say is if you go with the Axiom you wont regret it. Its an awesome shooting bow. Very accurate. The #1 tip everyone gives is don't aim at the same spot or you will be buying alot of arrows when you robinhood them. I'm sure ...

Re: new member
Welcome to Excalibur & congratulations on the new Axiom. I bought the same one in the fall & took a deer with it in the late fall. Its a great crossbow. Everytime I shoot it I'm amazed at the accuracy of the Excalibur. Good luck with your new toy.

Re: FLETCHING DISTANCE
Only thing is short 3/4-1" have vanes touching against the scope mount I refletched some bolts & noticed the 2" Blazers were touching the scope mount. It didn't seem to affect the arrow flight. But when I refletched the next set of bolts I moved the vanes closer to the front of the ar...
