Re: shooting off hand

I took a friend hog hunting last year. He's right handed and nearly blind in his right eye and had never shot a crossbow before. He made a 25 yard left handed shot on a hog no problem. My father was a US Army marksman and as a child I watched him shoot right and left handed, upside down between his ...

Re: Phoenix Problems

Make sure the horizontal reticle in the scope is parallel to the bow. If the scope is a slight turn off it will affect the windage at different distances. In your case loosen the scope rings and slightly turn the scope counter clockwise "when looking through the scope" and see if it helps...

Re: String or No String During Shipment

I've been shooting my Equinox year round for 3 years. It spends hundreds of hours cocked and loaded each year and I have only unstrung to adjust or replace the string. It still slings a 460 grain bolt almost too fast to see.....right where it's aimed. I almost feel sorry for it and I used to worry a...

Re: New bolts... would like to buy a dozen

The dozen will have the brass inserts. The fully threaded 110 grain insert is the "unique insert system" of the Laser II bolts. They do offer an aluminum insert if you wanted to shoot a 170 grain broadhead or 3D shoot with field points as well as screw in weights to dial them in. They are ...

Re: New bolts... would like to buy a dozen

Powerbolts .297" i.d Firebolts .304" i.d. Laser II .300 I.d. If you want to shoot the very common easy to find 100 gr broadheads with an off the shelf bolt I'd say go with the GT Laser II. The brass inserts give you more than enough FOC with or without Luminocks and they are cheaper than t...

Re: Veri-zone super fragile?

The fall may have pushed the scope mount down. Loosen the 4 screws and raise the scope and mount until you are back on target. This is what happened to mine. It didn't fall or get hit by anything. No more Varizones for me.

Re: Spitfires or Muzzy 100 gr 3 blade

The Spitfires are hard to beat. Amazing wounds, very accurate and they have the same POI as field points.
