Florida Bear
This is one of the bears that drops by the feeder from time to time. There is no bear hunting in Florida but maybe someone could tell me how this one compares to the ones you guys get to hunt. I added another picture for size comparison. Please don't pay attention to the date/time on the pictures. I...

Re: Boltcutter Broad heads
The boltcutters never had the same POI as my field point but did group fine with a slight scope adjustment. I switched to mechanicals in order to deliver more energy to my target, a larger wound and a shorter blood trail....or even better a DOA. I sometimes find myself hunting in areas where I need ...

Re: I don't get it?
40 yards is 40 yards compound bow or crossbow. It's up to the hunter which one they pick.....The guys that complain are the same guys that will grab their rifles in a few weeks for rifle season while some of us hunt exclusively with a crossbow all season long even when modern firearms are allowed. T...

No license required for hogs and we can hunt them year round. In fact I get paid to hunt them.......all in a days work.

Re: Equinox vs. hog
I'm in Lake County but I work & hunt Lake, Marion and Sumter counties. We took this pig in my honey hole for a friends bbq. On the small meat hogs a spitfire puts them down where they stand followed by a good bleeding. There are some giants in there too but they don't taste as good as the young ...

Re: New member, 5 years slinging bolts
When time allows I prefer hogs in the off season but the coyotes are always on the hit list no matter where I'm at. Nuisance wildlife can be a whole variety of critters and I never know what I'll be dealing with next.....Sometimes it's a challenge and sometimes it's like target practice. The Excal g...

Re: New member, 5 years slinging bolts
Wow! First I'd like to thank everyone for the warm welcome. You seem like a great group of guys... and I'm sure a few gals. It's good to know there are so many others that have been bitten by the Excalibur bug. I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to hunt pretty much year round and yes I mi...

Re: Expandable Broadheads
NAP Spitfires are spot on with my target points. I use them for deer hunting. For nuisance hogs, raccoons, armadillo, coyote, fox, bobcat etc I use the NAP Shockwave, Cabelas Laser Strike or the Sticknine. For turkeys the Stricknine is very hard to beat. Knocks them down like a wrecking ball.

New member, 5 years slinging bolts
Hi everyone. Another new member here. I've been shooting my Equinox for 3 years now and it has proven itself many times without a single failure. I'm a hunter and a nuisance wildlife trapper and my Excalibur quickly became my go to weapon. I had a quad 400 for a couple of years before that...please ...
