Re: Meat grinders
Don, The best thing would be a used commercial grade grinder. Since you are in the GTA area a quick search on Kijiji or a search for used commercial equipment should find a few. Look for Hobart products as these are what most butcher shops would be using. A quick search found this unit in your area ...

Re: Need help picking a trail cam
I purchased a set of Moultries A-5's this summer from CTC. They are taking great pics and seem to be doing just fine. I have a older model Moultrie that has lasted about 5 years, Its slower now that's why I purchased two new ones. I noticed the other day the A5 is back on sale at CTC about 25% off o...

Didnt miss this time - Ibex = Doe
Well after Monday night's clean miss on a doe, I was able to fill me one and only doe tag this morning. I had put the kids on the bus 7:50 and then grab the Ibex and Ipad to check my trail cameras. Well the camera's showed a Doe around 5:30am this morning, other then a grouse no active to be had. So...

a clean miss tonight
So I went out this afternoon around 3:15 got into my stand and watched all the blue jays eating the corn. Around 4:25 I heard some noise behind me but it was in a direction I had no view of anything. Then about 20-25 minutes a nice but smaller doe came out of the tree line. She knew something wasn't...

Re: Feeding all year
I do feed all year around as well. However in the off season (Jan-Oct) I drop down to two feeds a day at a reduced rate. My Moultrie feeder it set for 3 seconds twice a day in the off season and then I bump it up for Oct,Nov,Dec. This helps my cost of feeding all year, it was $60 for the off season ...

Re: Feeder Feed Times
I have mine set about 30 mintues after sunrise and about 1hour before sunset. Like Crazy Horse said it might take them about to feel comfortable around it and you don't want them to show up in the dark either.

No Apple doesn't offer the ability to upload via a sd-reader to your I-phone. They do offer it for I-pad see link - http://www.apple.com/ca/shop/product/MD ... era-reader

Re: Who's using action cameras on their xbows?
I have a spy point Xcel camera that we use for snowmobiling. I haven't mounted it on my bow yet to try out. I will say the videos are nice clear and seem to give a true distance to what you are looking at. The are priced lower then Go Pro and seem to give all the same specs.

Re: Leaving crossbow cocked
Well I for one have left me bow cocked for around a week. Wasn't on purpose just one step I forgot to do when I got in from a cold hunt one day last winter. It had no effect on POI at all, I have tested it more then once POI never moved. Its not something I hope to do again but at the same time its ...

Re: no doe tag this year
No doe tag for me here in 65, and out of the other two guys that hunt with me one did get a doe tag and not the other. Last year we all had them so I guess we cant complain. We will check about tags in another area that does a bow only to see if can get a doe tag, they normally have extras.

Re: Did I ruin my bow limbs?
Well I was one to leave my bow cocked for about a week or so, I forgot one day when I came back from a hunt in early winter. It had no effect to my bow, it was dead on still and is still dead on.

Terry,
Tell them you will only ship with a tracking number, the cost will outway a scam. Also it gives you proof that the package was delivered which is normally what ebay/paypal like to see.
