Re: Piece of my Excalibur equiptment I hate the most.
I hate the quiver attached to the right side of my bow...I am a little ocd and things have to be symmetrical and even ... A lob sided bow just doesn't fly with me...I also find it ads a slight uneven feel to the bow...not to mention I ride my ATV with my bow on my back with a sling and you can not d...

question about string wax, lube for the rail??
I am new to crossbows so bare with me...I have been told and read a few conflicting things in regards to wax and lube on the string and rail. I was told from the local bow shop to NOT put wax on my serving as it will gum up the trigger and rail creating valleys and peaks on the rail...like a ripple ...

That's awesome your allowed 6 tags......where I hunt in the Grey County at the parents farm...I am allowed 1 tag... I have to apply in the spring for a doe tag and "IF" I get one I affix it to my buck tag...So I can harvest a buck OR a doe....But on the other side of the gravel rd is a dif...

Re: Cocking your crossbow
I have a 2 person 17' ladder stand and I can cock my xbow no problem..I would not try it in some of the stands on the farm that are pretty much a bicycle seat with a foot rest. but hunting out of this stand is like sitting in the living room watching the "nature channel" http://www.amerist...

Re: Ok, what is the hype over the thumbhole stock?
I just purchased a Ibex w-thumb hole stock...b4 I bought this xbow I must have shot 15 different xbows compound and different excals and my shot freestanding was much more steady and accurate with a thumb hole stock...and I felt more in tune with the xbow(confidence)...I think at the end of the day ...

Well I must say i am a very proud owner of my first xbow and that my choice was of course the best one, excal, I went with a 2011 Ibex w- light stuff package...So after shooting it for 2 days now and learning how to use it...today I got it sighted in just right and hitting 1 1/2 groups at 20 yards.....
