Rain Rain Please Go Away
Hello everyone. It seems that the Monsoon season has set in on South Central Michigan. Darn it. Last weekend when my Grandson and I should have been trying out the Axiom again just to make sure, being the tinker (one of my down falls) I was in my shop building a top mount similar to a Munch mount. W...

Re: Newbie stuff and a question
gerald thanks for the come back. I'm located along I-69 not far from the Indiana Michigan state line in Branch Co. Have been looking at pictures of Munch mount but just can't get the proportions to click. Being new to the xbow just don't want to get things crowded up to start with.

Newbie stuff and a question
Hi everyone. My grandson and I have now had a chance to try out the Axiom. All that can be said is WOW. We have shot it twice and now I know why everyone on the forum advises not to shoot at the same spot twice. May have to trade or sell a gun or two to buy more Excals. Sort of thinking Munch mount ...

Opps on my last post (Target Question)
While plugging in numbers into an on line archery calculator I did not take into consideration the length of the Rage 125 grain crossbow head. I was using the total length of the Fire Bolt and 125 grain field point. Using the correct overall length should make the FOC just over 14% with the Rage not...

Re: Target Question
hankenhunter thank you for the reply to my post. About 15 seconds after I clicked the submit button, thought to myself--what a dumb question. Bought a broad head target today. Starting to think that getting set up can be sort of a money pit. Oh well gotta get things going in the transiti...

Re: Is it legal?
Sticking neck out here but i don't think so. Safe thing to do would be to call a DNR field office and ask. They are very friendly about answering questions. Phone numbers are listed on the Michigan DNR web site.

Target Question
Thanks to all who welcomed me to the forum. I have a question about targets. When I bought my Axiom I bought a nice bag type target for field points only. From my vertical bow days I have a homemade bag target that is made from a feed bag (read about that here). If I shoot broadheads at the homemade...

Hello to all. I've been following this forum for about 2 years now. Have a new Axiom SMF laying on my dining room table this evening. Thought it was time to join all of you here. Got lots to learn in a short time. Hunting season opens in 3 weeks.
