Dumb Question

Is there a member with the user name of "racking up points"? If there is I must apologize. While looking at my email I may have dumped a message as spam that was not spam .

O/T Southern Michigan Firearms Deer Hunters

I would like to ask all firearms Deer hunters that live in the Southern part of Michigan to check out my posting in the Other Topics forum. Legislation has been introduced by Representative Matt Lori that may be of interest to you. In my opinion this legislation would be a Giant step in the in the r...

Re: SHARPENING BOLT CUTTERS

I use a Smith's precision sharpening kit. It's made for knife sharpening but ya can remove the blades from the broadhead and clamp them into the fixture as done when sharpening a knife.

Re: New delima

I had the same problem with my Axiom. After checking the normal things, tiller, tightness of fasteners, arrows, and everything else I could remember reading about here on the forum I put a Leoplod rifle scope on it. Same thing, could not adjust zero. Then started looking closer at things. Using a di...

Re: Axiom Rail:

I also have the Axiom SMF crossbow. Have been shooting it just a little less than a year. So far I'm really happy. The bow is very accurate with Excalibur accessories that came with the bow. So far ZERO problems and I really don't expect any.

Sry Beat to death topic-But serving question

After following this topic for a long time and reading many excellent posts that contained pictures and ideas of the cool serving jigs others have fabricated, I built one in two pieces (left and right) that can be bolted to and removed from my reloading bench. Included is a thrust bearing on one end...

Re: Hair Raising & Butt orfice Puckering

I'm with Big58cal. Years ago while hunting with the old vbow I had a very large and not really friendly dog approach me in an extremely aggressive manner. It had no collar and was mangy looking. Now that concealed carry for personal protection in Michigan is legal, I don't leave home without it.

I agree with Awshucks, open side down. Learned this in the dark one evening. They can't fall off the string that way.

Re: How many?

To date, only one, me, and that was after reading many customer reviews on the internet about limbs splintering, strings breaking, triggers and anti-drifire systems failing, this Plastic piece or that breaking, bows that were in for warranty repair when they should have been out hunting , and compan...

Re: Long Shot

Congrats on your harvest. Hind sight is 20/20. Don't kick yourself in the back side now. It worked out for the good. I fully understand the auto pilot statement--been there before.

Re: Kid/Squirrel

Contrats to your son for the squirrel harvest. This is a good start for him no matter how many shots it took. Hand gun hunting is the supreme test of skill no matter if it was shot loads or a single projectile.

O/T I learned something new today

Bought my Christmas present to myself today ( wife passed a few years back). I did not know that Savage Arms has a plant in Lakefield, Ont. What I brought home was a 17 HMR. Fit and Finish is very good. It has a heavy barrel and synthetic stock. It came with a 3 to 9 power Bushnell scope. Trigger is...
