Re: diy camo dip

That camo mount in the picture he has done for me.
I told him;
This is bound to be a collectors item in the near future being one of the first camo ones ever made by you. Do you have it numbered.

He said no not numbered but he wrote it in his book.

Re: New trail camera

I have 2 Moultrie M-100 's. What I like about them is the lcd viewer screen. I don't use it to view pictures. I use it to set up the camera to take the picture. But I see alot of the new moultries don't have that set up. It takes the guess work out of setting the camera up. You get to see the pictur...

Scope question

How do you get the crosshairs of your scope horizonally level with your crossbow and do it by yourself. I tried setting the bow on a table but it is to unstable always leans one way or another. I don't have a little bubble level. The smallest level is 6 in. I always seem to be guessing that it looks...

Re: Using a non-laser range finder, this season

I had some of them. I had the 75 yrd one, and a 60 yrd one, and I had a little black one that went to 50 yrds. One would break and I would buy another one. I even found that I had one called a Ranging 610 that went from 15 to 200 yrds. I didn't even remember that I had that one till I went looking. ...

Did you see anything on the doe permits for PA this year. I thought they decided them at the April meeting but I can't find anything about them anywhere.

Re: new growth

I like the moultrie M100. It has a 2 inch viewing screen so I can see what I am taking a picture of before it takes the actual picture. I am lousey at pointing the camera and getting something in the center of the picture. I also like the Camlock swivel bracket that lets you swivel the camera in any...

I just pulled my camera card in from the southeast corner of Pennsylvania and the buck have about 2 inches of new growth. I hope to see them keep growing.

Re: S5

I ordered one on line and it showed black and it came black. I'm glad it came black because it really looks good with the black saddle washers that came with the camo quiver mount I got from Munch.

Re: Right rubber stopper split, already??

I bought a spare set of rubber stoppers right when I bought the whole S5 setup. You never know when one is going to split. I didn't want it to be during hunting and not have any on hand. But I hope they last longer than that. I still haven't shot the bow with the S5 on it yet. It's sitting on a hang...

Re: Who else likes to "improve" deer trails?

Behind my place in the woods where I put tree stands up. Not to many people can hunt it on my end of the woods but I don't own the woods. The other end somebody else owns. I guess they wanted to make sure the deer didn't come into my end of the woods so they tied womens nylon stocking in the trees w...

Re: Who else likes to "improve" deer trails?

How come it didn't work for me. Two years ago I started hunting this spot. I saw where the deer were coming through and I pruned it back some. I had a tree stand up all of last years archery season. So one week end this year I went up and started opening the trail wider for the deer to come through. ...

Re: What Scope Caps to Order?

I have the old butler creek non- see thru caps on my rifle scopes. They work great. I have had them on my rifle for more than 30 years ( the same set). But they are made from a more rubbery material. The newer ones are made from a hard plastic and I have broke both of the non-see thru caps off of my...
