Re: Best Climber Treestand for XBow
I cant believe nobody locks their stands to trees. Everyone I was in hunting camp with in PA a week ago locked their climbers to trees, and this was on state land. When you got a 1-2 mile walk into the woods, im sure it would be a pain to carry a climber in and out with you along with your xbow, et...

I agree with this 100%. Not worth it.BeerNutz1960 wrote:I say, bury it somewhere, nothing is worth chancing your health.
Even if you don't get another tag, at least you will be around next year to try again.

Thanks. That helps a lot.Dereck wrote:The thumb hole requires most to take hand off grip to release safety as it is a reach, the traditional stock allows you to release safety with minimal movement.
Have had both and prefer the traditional JMO

Re: Phoenix and Ibex grip
Thanks for suggestion on Danny. Already spoke to him and will be ordering from him. Just trying to save the hassle of a return. As for the profile, yes I know how to do that. I have been hanging out on forums longer than most people have known about the Internet. Trying to reduce the amount of perso...

I found no reason for you to have to apologize in that thread. Being new to this forum, I did not realize people are that touchy. Good to know going forward.

Phoenix and Ibex grip
Can anyone compare/describe the grip "thickness" between these two models? I am ready to order, but I am concerned about this. I have VERY small hands. People think I exaggerate, until I tell them I only wear a size 7 1/2 ring or show them my hands. I have been leaning towards the Phoenix,...

Re: Do I get a hat or a sticker
I have had it happen with a vertical bow. I can only imagine what it is like on a crossbow. Glad you are still in the game. I am ordering my first Excalibur today. Can't wait.

Re: Scope trouble help please
I think you'll be happy with the Leupold. I have mine mounted in Leupold steel rings and it's stayed zeroed since I put it on the Phoenix. I had 3 scope failures over the years and finally switched to the Leupold in 2010. 5 deer so far, and all have been good hits and short blood trails. I am sure ...

Excalibur scope question
Looking at buying a Phoenix. The package comes with the Varizone multiplex scope. I hunt some very low light, so I am wondering if I should look at the Lumizone, or something else. Any recommendations?
Thanks.
Thanks.
